So, a certain someone has been pestering me since I've started this blog to make a card for him. Well, it just so happens his birthday is this month, so I've finally done it! These masculine cards really present a challenge for me. I seem to always gravitate towards flowers and such.
The card is based off of the CPS sketch 165. I masked off the middle section of the card so that I could sponge and stamp the leaves in gray ink. The stamps and sentiment are all from the PTI Through the Trees set.
Let's hope Ivan likes it....
Recipe
Paper - PTI Stamper's Select White; Black cardstock - unknown
Stamp - PTI - Through the Trees
Ink - Memento - Tuxedo Black, London Fog; CTMH - Twilight
Other - Corner Rounder, buttons, hemp
I think he will...I would

ReplyDeleteGreat card.
ReplyDeleteSo simple yet so elegant. I love the colors and the touch you added to the buttons.
I agree, it hard to make guy cards, I am so much happier with the girl ones.
